Supporting People to Move and Feel Better: Pain Free Living

When people come to our sessions, one of the most common challenges they talk about is pain — whether it’s back pain, joint stiffness, or discomfort that has slowly built up over time. For many people, this can affect confidence, mobility, and overall wellbeing.

That’s why we value working alongside professionals who share our aim of helping people stay active and live well.

One of the businesses we regularly liaise with is Pain Free Living, run by osteopath Bob Allen. Pain Free Living focuses on helping people understand the root cause of their pain and find ways to manage or reduce it so they can move more comfortably in everyday life.

A holistic approach to pain and movement

Many people think osteopathy is only for back pain, but the support offered through Pain Free Living can help with a wide range of musculoskeletal issues including neck pain, knee pain, shoulder problems, posture issues and other joint-related discomfort.

What we particularly appreciate is the shared belief that movement should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, injury or ability. Rather than simply accepting pain as part of getting older, the aim is to help people understand their body better and find practical ways to move with greater comfort and confidence.

Working together to support wellbeing

Our work often overlaps with Bob’s approach. Many of the people we support are looking for ways to improve strength, mobility and overall wellbeing through gentle exercise. Having trusted professionals we can signpost to makes a real difference.

By working collaboratively with practitioners like Pain Free Living, we’re able to help people access the right support at the right time — whether that’s therapeutic treatment, advice on managing pain, or safe ways to stay active.
